Introduction
The Neo Black Movement of Africa (NBM) is a registered socio-cultural,
non-racist, apolitical, non-profit making and non-religious
organisation. The Movement was set up in 1977 to pursue blackism and
promote black consciousness and pride.
The origins and growth of NBM is narrated in detail on the History
page. The Movement has its origins in the University of Benin, Nigeria
and now has zones across Nigeria, South Africa, Germany, United
Kingdom, Spain, North America and the Netherlands.
The Movement works to project the African personality and re-establish
black history and pride through research, seminars, conferences,
lectures, charitable and humanitarian endeavours within any society its
members find themselves.
